I traveled completely by myself from the United States to Colombia for my surgery, and of course there was a part of me that was nervous about having a procedure in another country and going through the recovery alone. But from the moment I landed in Cartagena, I never once felt alone.

From being picked up at the airport by Juan Carlos and having my transportation completely taken care of, to arriving at the recovery suite and immediately feeling welcomed, safe, and cared for, every detail was handled with an incredible level of organization, professionalism, and genuine warmth.

Dr. Campbell and his wife are truly wonderful people. There is such a beautiful combination of professionalism, knowledge, attention to detail, and humanity in the way they treat their patients. The quality of care I received was exceptional from beginning to end. I felt listened to, respected, guided, and completely comfortable trusting them with my face.

And my results… I honestly could not be happier. I had a lip lift with fat transfer, and even while still going through the healing process, I am absolutely in love with the result. It looks beautiful, natural, balanced, and so harmonious with my face. Dr. Campbell truly understood what I wanted while still respecting my natural features, and that was incredibly important to me. His precision and attention to detail are evident in the result.

And Diana… what a wonderful human being. ❤️ I will never forget the way you took care of me. You checked on me, helped me, made sure I was comfortable, cooked for me, and cared for me in a way that went so far beyond simply doing your job. When you are recovering from surgery alone, thousands of miles away from home, those acts of kindness mean more than I could ever explain. You made me feel like I had family there.

And that is what makes this entire team so special.

Every single person I encountered treated me with kindness, patience, professionalism, and genuine care. You can feel that the people here put love into what they do. At the same time, the medical care, facilities, organization, and overall standard of service felt extremely professional and high quality. That combination is rare.

This experience never felt transactional. I never felt like I had simply traveled somewhere, paid for a surgery, and became another patient on a schedule. I felt cared for as a person  from the airport pickup, to my surgery, the recovery suite, meals, transportation, follow-ups, and all the little moments in between.

Traveling internationally alone for plastic surgery is a big decision. I came to Cartagena by myself, but because of Dr. Campbell, his wife, Diana, Juan Carlos, and this incredible team, I never truly felt alone.

I’m eight days post-op after several post-weight-loss body procedures at Premium Care, and I already feel so grateful I chose them. My results so far have exceeded my expectations, and the care I received made an experience I was anxious about feel manageable.

The facility is pristine and well organized, but what stayed with me most was the kindness of the people. Diego and Juan Carlos were friendly, punctual drivers. My recovery suite was spotless and thoughtfully equipped, to a very high standard. In Suite 2308, Corina’s warmth and delicious meals made me feel safe, cared for and at home. Nayiby the hospitality manager was equally attentive and quick to help when I had a concern about my room.

The nurses cared for me from the moment I woke up after surgery. When I had a question about a drain, someone came within minutes to check it and reassure me. My heartfelt thanks to Emilis, Monica, Manuela, Nicolasa, Agatha and Leidy for their skill, warmth and good humour. Having you look after me at my most vulnerable has been a privilege!

Dr Restrepo was patient and thorough from our first virtual consultation through every appointment. I felt heard about my medical history, my concerns and the aesthetic results I hoped for. Dr Johan and Dr Vega (the anesthesiologists) also helped put me at ease before surgery, and I will forever be deeply grateful to Dr Carolina for her surgical mastery and kindness.

Thank you, too, to Sofia, Karine and Ana Luisa for making every step easier, and to Mirledis for the massages that helped me relax, sleep and recover. If you’re going, I highly recommend the massage therapy, in fact double up on it!

Traveling from London to Cartagena for surgery felt like a big decision, one I was hesitant about due to the distance, but I’m so pleased I made it. Premium Care combined excellent care with genuine humanity in what has been for me a truly transformational experience inside and out. Thank you to everyone who looked after me, I’ll always remember you fondly, and I’ll be back.

PS the views from the recovery suites and the sunrises were truly therapeutic. A shopping mall and supermarket are conveniently located right next door. You get warm soup after surgery and breakfast everyday and nutritious and diverse meals are available for order.

From the very beginning, the coordinator and physicians were communicative and listened to my concerns and desires.  They asked for additional medical information during the process to ensure that my procedures would be safely done.

Financing was straightforward and easy, no hidden costs.  When I arrived in Cartagena, all of the staff were kind and compassionate and helpful from the clinical and nursing staff, to the house staff that took great care of me during recovery, to the transportation support and lymphatic massage.   The facilities were clean, beautiful and conveniently located.   My views and space in the recovery suite was very comfortable and provided plenty of opportunity for restful recovery.  I strongly recommend them. While my final results are still a work in process, I am thrilled with the outcome so far (skin removal/body contouring after losing 120+ lbs). The Suite that we stayed at was amazing and made recovery much more pleasant and the fact that they have a nurse that stays with you for the first 2 nights and is available on call gives enormous peace of mind.
